Monday is Garbage Day

  • ANDERSON SANITATION, 218-754-6851, is the City of Kennedy's contracted garbage service provider.
  • Have garbage curbside by 8:00 A.M., on Mondays.
  • All garbage must be placed in specially marked orange bags.
  • The special, orange garbage bags are available in two sizes, small (15 gallon) and large (33 gallon), and are bundled in packages of six small bags per bundle and five large bags per bundle.
  • These garbage bags cost $11.20 per bundle and must be paid for at the time of purchase or delivery.
  • Garbage bags may be purchased at the City office and KodaBank. Additionally, we will deliver bags to you if you call the City office at 218-674-4142, and leave a message.
